So excited to finally be able to share the news that my images have made the cover of Street Trucks Magazine! I met with Julio Garcia, the owner of “Coyote Ugly”, a 1970 Ford F-100 Pickup that has been restored into a gorgeous show car. No corners were cut with this beast, and the finish on everything is absolutely top-notch.
So go pick up a copy today to see this beautiful machine in print!
New set for Ferrada Wheels featuring their Matte Black 20″ FR1 wheels on a brand new Dodge Charger R/T Scat Pack!
I met up with @zaccuair earlier last month to shoot his absolutely sinister bagged Audi A7 for Ferrada wheels. The A7 looked great sitting low on their 20″ matte black FR4 wheels. Enjoy!
We traveled back out to Old Iron Works this past week, this time to photograph a beautiful 1932 Stutz DV-32 Convertible Victoria. The original Stutz name was applied to the company that produced very high end cars for the wealthiest Americans, starting in 1911 and ending in 1935. It was a real competitor to Duesenberg, who also sold some of the best American cars that money could buy for the time. The “DV” in the name stands for “dual valve”, and represents the 32 valves in the overhead cam straight eight cylinder engine. Freshly restored about 4-5 years ago, this model is a gorgeous example, and probably one of the best remaining in the country.
Classic Porsches are becoming increasingly valuable, and as such, I have been photographing a good deal more of them in the past year or so. I was contacted by Bonhams about photographing this stunning example, a 1967 911S, which was located at a Porsche specific shop out in Sealy, Texas.
We found some nice country roads nearby the shop right as the sun was setting, and managed to get some great shots of this beautiful car. Keep an eye out for it at the Scottsdale Auction, January 29-30 of next year!
We were contacted last minute about traveling to Dallas for a session with one of my dream cars: a 1962 Porsche 356 Carrera 2 GS Coupe. The car has been meticulously maintained and looks showroom new. This special edition Porsche came with a 130 bhp, 1,966 cc DOHC air-cooled horizontally opposed four-cylinder engine with dual Solex 40 PII-4 carburettors, four-speed manual transmission, parallel trailing arm front suspension with transverse torsion bars, swing axle rear suspension with transverse torsion bars, and four-wheel hydraulic disc brakes. It was one of the very few to be fitted with the sunroof option as well. Beautiful car, inside and out. Enjoy the images!
The Ferrari 458 Italia is one of my favorite cars off all time, with a design that is stunning from any angle, and an engine note that still continues to give me goosebumps, I am always excited to be around this car. Ferrada Wheels is a brand new company, so I wanted to make sure that the session did the car and wheels justice. It was a lot of fun, and I am happy with how the images turned out!
We’ve been working closely with Ferrada wheels for their 2015 release of a brand new wheel line. Here is the first of many sessions, this one featuring an Infiniti G37 coupe on Ferrada’s 20″ FR3 wheels in a machine silver finish. Keep on the lookout for more soon!
It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything automotive, but that isn’t to say that I haven’t been shooting! With the wedding season hitting its peak this spring/summer, I had neglected to post any automotive work that I’d finished up. I have a bunch backlogged now, so get ready for lots of automotive content coming in the next few weeks!
First up is a trip to Crave Luxury Auto to cover 8 vehicles that are going to be sold at auction by Mecum. Seeing cars like a 1972 Ferrari 365 GTB is quite a sight, let along seeing two in the same spot! It was a long, extremely hot day of shooting, the only respite being a broken $5 umbrella that I found in my car to shield myself from the unrelenting triple digit heat.
