This session was too much fun! We wanted to try something different with these two monsters – a matte purple BMW M4 on bronze FR8’s, and its bigger brother, the M6, on bronze FR5’s. Strobing a car is much more time intensive than natural light shooting, of course, but the results are always so great. You can see a few videos of my workflow below. Enjoy!
We were contacted by Bentley’s PR company about covering a Super Bowl event that they had scheduled at Million Air terminal, located at Hobby Airport. Just before the big game, many of the sports and business elite were traveling to Houston, and Bentley sought to show their latest lineup of cars as they all rolled into the terminal.
The prices for their cars may seem exorbitant until you’re able to experience them in person. The level of craftsmanship that goes into each and every car is truly remarkable, and everything in the cars has a hand-built and purposeful feel to it. I especially loved the solid metal door pulls and deep, soft wool carpets. So nice!
I’ve always thought that Aston Martin did a great job with making timeless designs, and this DB9 proves just that. Fitted with machine silver FR3 wheels from Ferrada, this car looks every bit as good as it did when new. Aging gracefully is not something that most cars do, and this one will look good for many years to come.
Talk about the perfect session! When this family reached out to me about doing a combination family and automotive session, I accepted immediately. I was so excited to be able to pair both sides of my work together. We were treated to perfect Houston springtime weather, and the kids had a blast playing with their parents and their gorgeous 1965 Ford Mustang. We hope more sessions like this come along soon!
I am always excited when I get a call back to Old Iron Works to photograph one of their amazing cars. This one was even more special than normal though, as the car on the list was none other than the prized 1930 Stutz Model M Supercharged Coupe by Lancefield. One of only a few ever made, it is currently the only known survivor of its type. In absolutely flawless condition, it is really a sight to be seen.

We joined Porsche on a warm July afternoon for the first segment of their countrywide tour of “Destination Drives”, where locals can come in and experience time behind the wheels of the entire Porsche line in a real-life setting. The hot, hot weather didn’t deter everyone from having a great time putting the cars through the paces at a makeshift track prepared in the massive parking lot at Reliant Arena. In between sessions, everyone met back at The Astorian to receive more information about Porsche’s model line, as well as exciting offers available only to Destination Drives participants. It was a great day, and we loved gathering candid coverage for Porsche to use in their upcoming press releases and promotional material for future Destination Drives. Below are some highlights from the day!
The same owner of the gorgeous 1970 Buick Gran Sport contacted us to photograph his equally stunning 1958 Chevrolet Corvette with a complete LS3 engine and transmission swap. Totally modern, this car can run with the best of them. We love it!
