Taking full advantage of one of the very few cool days we’ve had in Houston, we met up with Kelly and Kyle for their engagement session in mid-December. They brought along Franklin, their ridiculously cute and Insta-Famous corgi pup for the ride. We love how the session came out, and we can’t wait for their big day!
Congratulations to Jonathan and Christina, we can’t wait for August!
We had such a great time with these two (and their pup Bowen) at Brazos Bend for their engagement session! The park delivered with its always-perfect light, as we followed Bowen and his ball around the spanish moss shrouded trees and wide open fields. We can’t wait for their big day, coming up this September!
We met with Sean, Stephanie, and their pup Belle at Heritage Park in League City, Texas for their engagement session just a few weeks ago. The weather had been gray and rainy recently, but that day we were treated with beautiful golden light and cool temperatures. We love the laid back feeling to this set, and it was fun to photograph a session somewhere totally new! Belle hammed it up for us the entire set, pausing briefly every now and then for a bribe in the form of cookies or other treats. She was such a fun addition to the set!
I’ve been waiting since early January to post up Beth’s bridals, and since her and Krys have tied the knot at Ashelynn Manor on the 16th, I finally can!
We started this set out at Sam Houston Park right underneath the Houston skyline in the late afternoon. After their amazing engagement set in College Station, I had my work cut out for me! The park was virtually empty, so we had our choice of where to shoot. I really like the old houses and other structures that have been moved onto the property, giving it a small town feel in stark contrast to the skyscrapers towering overhead, just blocks away. Beth’s sister Laura and her husband Jes came along to help out on dress/hair watch and to help wrangle Beth’s pup Lexie for a couple of shots. It was invaluable having them there, as a sister always has a sharp eye to keep the bride looking her best.
