We love traveling more than pretty much anything else, so when you can combine travel with a wedding, it makes for an extremely exciting opportunity. We’ve been friends with Joe and Megan for quite some time now, starting when they contacted us about a session with the two of them and their Factory Five Shelby Cobra Replica. We loved the creativity and the effort they put into the set, and it really paid off – it has been one of our favorite sessions for years! Fast forward a few years, and Joe popped the question while they were vacationing in southeast Asia. A short time later, they contacted me about photographing their wedding at El Mangroove Hotel in Costa Rica, an offer which we quickly accepted.
Having the opportunity to travel with Tony and Christine was such a great experience. These two share a similar desire to travel, so they were troopers when it came to waking up at sunrise for photos, or staying out until the twilight hours for the perfect shot. Thanks so much to you both for bringing me along on your journey, it was certainly a trip to remember!
Sharla, Peter and I first crossed paths nearly two years ago when they began planning their marriage. Intimate ceremonies are one of my favorites, so I loved their idea of a private elopement. Their engagement session at the Asia Society here in Houston was so much fun, such a cool location that I’d never before been. A few months after, we met at Chateau Cocomar to celebrate their marriage. It was a beautiful afternoon, thank you so much for including me in your journey!
