I have really been pushing for clients to find somewhere truly meaningful for their engagement sessions this year, and our time with Hailey and Phil shows exactly why. Phil is a big time fisherman and they always enjoy heading down to the beach together with their pup, Luke. Phil let us in on “The Spot”, where he always gets the best catches, and we met there on a perfect afternoon. The special meaning of this spot really shined through in the images, and I couldn’t be happier with how they turned out. Congrats guys, can’t wait for the wedding!
Summertime in Texas can be a trying time, so we were more than happy to head 45 minutes south to Galveston Island for Ashley and Brad’s summer engagement session! With spotty rain coming in and out seemingly every day, we were lucky enough to be treated to a beautiful pink and blue sunset that evening, which worked out so perfectly for photos on the beach near the Galveston Pleasure Pier. We can’t wait for Ashley and Brad’s wedding at Briscoe Manor, coming soon!
It was so great to hit the road for Raymond and Anh’s engagement session last year, heading 1 hour south of Houston to Galveston island for their engagement session. Their wedding was this past January in Vietnam, and they wanted some memorable images to share with family and friends while overseas. The weather was perfect, and we loved the creative ideas that these two came up with! The set was so much fun, and we loved how it turned out. Enjoy!
We headed out to Galveston, Texas to visit Jenna’s alma mater, UTMB, for her bridal session. It was great shooting in front of the famous “Old Red”, a 124 year old building that has become a historic landmark in Galveston and the healthcare system in Texas alike. After wrapping up at UTMB, we headed to the seawall for some closing shots before the light slowly faded.
After the session, we followed Jenna’s recommendation and headed to Shrimp ‘N Stuff for dinner and had one of the best shrimp po’boys ever. Thanks for the recommendation Jenna!
