It was so cool to meet with Sarah, Joe, and their pup Astro right at center field of the football stadium on campus at University of Houston! Both Sarah and Joe are Coogs, so it seemed only appropriate for their engagements to take place on campus. Astro LOVED having the field all to himself, tearing back and forth from end zone to end zone like a wild man. We are so happy for you guys, and we can’t wait for the big day!
This past February we gathered all our gear and headed east to the land of Hot Chicken, Honky Tonk, and Smoky Mountains to meet with Christine and Alex at Percy Warner Park. The day before the session, heavy rain and rolling fog overtook the city, making us a bit worried about what we could expect upon our arrival at the park.
Our worries quickly faded that morning though, when we reached the park in the early morning hours. We loved the cool, earthy tones that the dense clouds provided us, almost like shooting at dawn for a few hours. We had such a great time that we’re looking for any excuse to head back to Nashville. Thanks again to Christine and Alex, I hope you love the photos!
We love to travel, so we were so excited to be able to head west to the hill country for both Ashley and Cody’s engagement session and their wedding. We were treated to perfect light both days, and had so much fun celebrating with both families. Thanks so much for having us along for the ride, guys!
Sharla, Peter and I first crossed paths nearly two years ago when they began planning their marriage. Intimate ceremonies are one of my favorites, so I loved their idea of a private elopement. Their engagement session at the Asia Society here in Houston was so much fun, such a cool location that I’d never before been. A few months after, we met at Chateau Cocomar to celebrate their marriage. It was a beautiful afternoon, thank you so much for including me in your journey!
It’s always an honor to be trusted with the images of a fellow photographer, so I was thrilled when Josh contacted me about photographing his wedding with his fiancee Nancy. We met at the newly erected Jane Gregory Garden near downtown Houston this past fall while everything was green and in bloom. Really loved the warm light that added to the intimacy of the session. Can’t wait for their big day!
On an otherwise rainy December weekend in Houston, the weather broke just in time for Mary and David’s wedding. No rain until just before their exit, when we ran outside to get the shot you see above – perfect! Congratulations, you guys, we’re so happy for you! Be sure to check out their colorful summer engagement session here, as well.

We love traveling for pretty much any reason, so we were excited when Erin and Sean expressed interest on having their engagement session photographed in Austin! It was great to have a nice, fresh perspective on a place we haven’t photographed before, and it always helps when your couple is as fun and photogenic as these two are! Congratulations to you both, can’t wait for the wedding!
