1940 Air Terminal Museum / Mar 3, 2015

Engaged! Michael & Esmeralda take flight at the 1940 Air Terminal Museum | Houston Wedding Photograper

It’s always great to shoot at new locations, and I was so excited when Michael and Esmeralda chose the 1940 Air Terminal Museum at Hobby Airport for their engagement session. All but abandoned in the until the 1980’s, the terminal has now been restored nearly back to it’s operating days, with more changes on the way. Walking inside is a blast from the past, with the art deco architecture and designs complete with the original light fixture hanging overhead. Being able to shoot around (let alone sitting in the cockpit!) their restored Lockheed Model 18 Lodestar was such a unique experience.

Michael and Esmeralda put some planning into their session, and it truly made for a very special set. I couldn’t wait to finish up this set to share with you all. Congratulations to you guys, can’t wait for July!
