Bret and Meredith are a Houston “it” couple. Meeting at a trendy bar, living in their gorgeous home in Meyerland, and socializing throughout the city whenever they can. We loved when they said that they wanted their engagement session to be in Houston’s revitalized downtown The unique mix of architecture between the 1912 Rice Hotel (where they are getting married!), warehouse-style buildings turned into moderns bars, and unique green spaces make for a fun and dynamic session.
After we shot around downtown, we made a move to our favorite park in Houston, Centennial Gardens. We had about 20 minutes to shoot because they are super strict on their closing times. The park attendants even go as far as shouting at you with a bullhorn to make sure you know it’s time to go! Even with those pesky park attendants, Centennial never disappoints. With ever-changing landscape, giving you everything from gorgeous desert plants to romantic roses it’s a perfect backdrop.
We had an amazing time working with Bret and Meredith and can’t wait for their wedding day, June 2018!
