Fall Family Session at the old Katy Rice Mill

I had such a great time shooting around at the old Katy rice mill with Hama and her two kids! It was my perfect idea of what a session should be: relaxed, fun, with no agenda whatsoever. We wandered around the grounds of the dilapidated mill finding all different kinds of cool colors, textures, and variances of light. The kids had a great time helping me find nice locations, and were awesome to work with, thinking of funny ideas to try and helping out mom with carrying a bag of props they’d brought. They even took a few shots of their own when I handed over the camera! We shot well into the sunset, until the mosquitoes started buzzing around the nearby tall grass. The set turned out so great, and really shows how much of a deep connection this family has with each other. I hope you guys love the photos!
