Everything was back to normal this month, with the event being held at the usual location of Vintage Park. Cars were arriving bright and early, nearly filling the lot at 6am! I rode in with some others as a part of Lucas Auto Care’s “Meet, Greet, & Ride” event, which turned out to be a great time. The ride consisted of 2 Mazda RX7’s, a 996 Porsche Carrera, 2 Lamborghini Gallardos and 2 C6 Corvettes. It took a little while for the sun to peak over the East side of the lot, giving me enough ambient light to begin shooting. Shortly down the line I spotted the legendary Ferrari F40, which made a brief appearance before being whisked off. Also there was a gorgeous Porsche 550 Spyder, which looked beautiful under the soft morning light.
The weather couldn’t have been any better, and the turnout was huge. I’ve heard confirmed rumors that we can expect an Enzo, Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, F40, F50, and possibly a Veyron next month, so be sure to set your alarm clocks early!
