Houston Coffee & Cars, Vintage Park, September 2013 | Houston Automotive Photographer

Back to Houston Coffee & Cars for September 2013! Everyone was out early in full force, filling the lot completely by 7:30am. We were treated to moderately “cool” weather for the first few hours, with some nice cloud cover that kept things from beginning to melt (c’mon Coffee & Cars December 2013!). An IndyCar from the upcoming Grand Prix of Houston was present to promote next month’s event (the first weekend in October).

A special return appearance of the Speed Racer car was definitely drawing looks from all over the lot, along with the Lamborghini Aventador that always seems to steal the show. Tesla vehicles are becoming more and more prominent in Houston, and it definitely showed that morning, with a solid turnout from that group. It’s great to see something new and exciting like that, and it only happens at Coffee & Cars!

By 9:15, most cars were inching their way towards the promenade for their exit. Two E30 BMW’s were driving like jerks, cutting one another off repeatedly in line…you know who you are, guys. Wait your turn and be polite like everyone else – you don’t want to be the reason the event is kicked out of Vintage Park!

Besides that little hiccup, it was another great month for Coffee & Cars. Next month (and next month only), Coffee & Cars will be held at Reliant Arena, in conjunction with the Grand Prix of Houston, so don’t forget the change of location for October!  Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

On to the photos!
