My girlfriend and I went to Hermann Park in Houston on Saturday to let our dog, Cash, get out into the open and expel a little pent up energy. Since the weather was so nice and the light looked like it may be right for a good sunset, I brought along my camera to take a few shots.
I hadn’t realized it, but Hermann Park has become an engagement/wedding/family/etc. photographer’s paradise. I counted at least 6 photographers there on assignment, which was surprising!
In between pulling Cash out of the lake after he went in after the ducks, I managed to get a few shots. The shots came out well, and definitely tell a false tale as far as natural beauty in Houston…this is just about all there is!
I tried a new editing technique, trying to encompass the warm, soft light of the evening. If you have comments on the editing, good or bad, I would love to hear them!
