Patrick, Kimmie, and I found eachother in a stroke of random luck. I was recommended to them by two separate acquaintances of Kimmie’s, and after meeting with her and Patrick for dinner to go over all the details, I knew that things were going to go great. My thoughts were verified when we met for her bridal session at the Westin Downtown, just a stone’s throw from their larger-than-life wedding venue, Minute Maid Park. She’s a natural in front of the camera, making the session so much fun.
On the day of the wedding, we all met back at the Westin Downtown. Kimmie looked gorgeous in her wedding dress, and Patrick looked sharp in his tailored suit, both excited and ready to tie the knot. The ceremony went perfectly, and then it was time to party! I loved the sliders and truffle fries made by the Astros’ own Chef Bryan Caswell…those fries were dangerous once you got started. The reception overlooking the lit ballpark was a completely new experience for me, it was so great to be able to do something so completely off the beaten path. Taking formal photos atop Union Station with downtown Houston in the background is an experience that I won’t soon forget.
I couldn’t be happier that our paths crossed just in time for their wedding, and it has been so great getting to know these two. This was a truly special wedding, and I’m so happy that I was able to be a part of it. Congrats guys!
