I had been anticipating this wedding since their amazing engagement session at Hermann Park. These two have such a great energy about them that you can’t help but like them. I knew that this wedding was going to be one to remember, and I was sooooo right. From the beautifully thoughtful letters they wrote each other, to the “supply kit” that she had delivered to him right before the ceremony, it was so much fun to follow and document the story.
After their marriage was sealed, we headed out to the Red Oak Ballroom in City Centre. Everyone wasted no time getting the party started, with dancing, costumes, and more. As a special surprise, the groom set up a skit for the bride, poking fun at her borderline obsession with Angry Birds. He and his friends constructed a real-life Angry Birds level for her to try, with prizes in each of the boxes she was able to knock over. This might have backfired on him, because she picked up her bird, and proceeded to methodically knock down every brick! His surprise was surpassed in the end though, when they made their exit at the end of the night, waiting for him in all of its honking, flashing, bright red glory was a vintage firetruck from the Bellaire Fire Dept. As they drove of into the (figurative) sunset, it put a cap on a perfect wedding, from start to finish. It has been such a great time becoming friends with these two, and I’m excited to see where the future takes them.
Congrats again, guys!
